Longines, the famous Swiss watch brand and Official Watch and Timekeeper of Churchill Downs, awarded Untapable’s owner, trainer and jockey with watches from the Conquest Classic collection after the 140th running of the Longines Kentucky Oaks. Longines Ambassador of Elegance Simon Baker was present on this day dedicated to elegance as a judge for the Longines Kentucky Oaks Fashion Contest.

Longines Kentucky Oaks is the Kentucky Derby’s $1 million companion race for 3-year-old fillies at 1 1/8 miles. Untapable with jockey Rosie Napravnik won the 140th running of this prestigious Group 1 race. Watches from the brand’s Conquest Classic collection were presented to owner Ron Winchell, trainer Steve Asmussen and jockey by Juan-Carlos Capelli, Vice President and Head of International Marketing for Longines and Jennifer Judkins, U.S. Brand President for Longines.

The official color of the Longines Kentucky Oaks is pink in celebration of all the women in attendance. The Pink Out encourages all Oaks attendees to wear pink or incorporate pink into their attire to show their support for cancer survivors. Longines Kentucky Oaks Day guests lined up at the pink carpet to attend the Longines Kentucky Oaks Fashion Contest with celebrity judge and Longines Ambassador of Elegance Simon Baker. The elegance and iconic style of the Kentucky Derby was front and center as Longines and the judges chose the most elegant lady and awarded her a stainless steel and rose gold cap Longines watch with diamond bezel from the Conquest Classic collection. Conquest Classic watches were also presented to the winning horses’ owner, trainer and jockey on Longines Kentucky Oaks Day.
