Live Video Stream of the Open Forum of the 49th IFHA Conference to be Available

The 49th International Conference of Horseracing Authorities will be available on the IFHA’s website (ifhaonline.org) beginning at 10:00 CEST (GMT+1) on Monday 5 October via live stream, and a replay of the Conference will be posted in the days following the event.

The keynote speaker of the Conference is John Messara, Chairman of Racing Australia and a leading Australian owner and breeder.

Louis Romanet will chair the Conference, which highlights many important areas of interest for racing. Mr Romanet will detail a strategic plan for the Federation, and a progress update will be given on the IFHA’s program on lab certification. In addition, the afternoon of the Conference will feature sessions titled, “The Global Illegal Betting Market” and “Delivering Media and Information to Bettors and Fans,” respectively, moderated by IFHA Vice-Chairmen Winfried Engelbrecht-Bresges and Jim Gagliano.
