International federation launches new website

The International Federation of Horseracing Authorities (IFHA) today announced the re-design of its website www.horseracingintfed.com, which will provide visitors with a wealth of new and regularly updated information on the industry. The new site will be launched just before the IFHA Annual General Meeting on 4 October in Paris.

In addition to the classification of races, the quarterly handicap ratings, country statistics and other facts and figures, the re-designed site features additional material such as a news section, links to the sites of our members, media and government, position papers and world photography.

“The Federation is taking a more proactive role in the horseracing industry and it needed an attractive and efficient tool to communicate with its wide audience of members, media, government and horseracing fans in general,” says Louis Romanet, IFHA President. “We want to become a true portal for information on horseracing across the globe.”

The website was created for the International Federation by The Jockey Club Information Systems, Inc., a subsidiary of The Jockey Club (U.S.) that provides a variety of information and technology services for industry professionals, including instant access to breeding, sales and race result information through its flagship product line, www.equineline.com.
