Florida allows VLTs at pari-mutuel facilities

According to Associated Press, video lottery games could be installed at Florida's roughly 25 existing pari-mutuel facilities, bringing in revenue of between $1 billion and $2 billion, under a bill approved Monday by a state Senate committee.

The Senate bill would allow similar machines -- including traditional card games and poker -- to be installed in other areas of the state that have pari-mutuel facilities.
